New concept of Real chain implemented in store in Warsaw Ursynów district
From 10th of September 2009, Real hypermarket remodeled according to a new concept is operating in Ursynów district in Warsaw. Due to the largest rebuilding of a Real store, a model market of the chain came into existence.
The store was opened in July 1996; it has space of 13 656 square meters. Hypermarket metamorphosis aims to give the customers a better comfort when shopping, as well as enable them to save time. The main changes in Real in Ursynów are modernization of products’ exposal by changing the coloring and decoration but also improvement of navigation and increase of transparency, as well as widening of the assortment.
For the first time in Real chain in Warsaw, 4 self-service check outs were installed in the market. The check-outs are already present in two other markets in Poland. The customers appreciate this modern solution especially because of its simplicity and speed of service.
The market is also equipped with facilities for the disabled, such as shopping trolleys adequate for their needs. Four check outs gained wider exits. There are also small trolleys for the youngest customers, adapted to their height. They also have flags facilitating the visibility.
On the area of the market we can observe a bigger number of price scanners, which allow checking product prices but also closed cold stores, assuring smaller energy losses; it is also provided by the modern lighting in the market.
Serious remakes were done in grill and gastronomical section: a special area with tables was allocated, giving the customers the opportunity to rest during shopping and find place to drink a cup of coffee or eat a meal.
Also sport section gained on attractiveness - it is wider and more transparent. It consists not only of basic work out products but professional sports equipment, as well as fishing accessories or nordic walking sticks.
In order to improve moving around the refreshed market, plans of the store are now available in leaflets but also installed on every trolley. A better orientation during shopping assures also detail alley descriptions.
In connection with the re-opening Real hypermarket offers attractive promotions, discounts and events. Every item involved in the promotions is located in a paper specially edited for this period on the occasion of the re-opening. The most encouraging offer is electro offer called “Second item for 50%”. Customers buying an electric product, get the second one half price.
