"Casino real,-" - giving shopping a buzz

Full price refunded after every 100 purchases

Moenchengladbach, 3rd November 2009 – Things are getting exciting at real,- checkouts in the second week of November. On these days “Casino real,-” will be taking place in all 340 real,- supermarkets. As part of this campaign, every real,- customer has the opportunity to be refunded the full purchase price of their shopping after completing the checkout process.

The thrill at the checkout is programmed. Everyone is familiar with the “beep” when a product is passed over the scanner by the checkout operator. “Casino real,-” starts as soon as the conveyor belt starts. Each cash register receipt is automatically counted. For every 100th, 200th, 300th purchase (etc.), the customer will be refunded the full purchase price for all items at the end of that particular checkout process – irrespective of whether the purchase is for food or premium technology goods.

No prior registration is required to participate. Every customer will automatically take part in “Casino real,-” during the checkout process from Monday 9 November to Saturday 14 November. The number of checkout processes is recorded for each store.
